Aspire, Achieve, Excel

02 June 2014

The twenty-first century is such an unknown entity it is our duty, as educationalists, to empower our pupils with the skills to embrace any challenge they may face in the future. Whether that be providing them with the foundations to attain outstanding examination results, nurturing an underlying talent, or simply the confidence to communicate with others.

Allowing pupils the opportunity to broaden their experiences is fundamental in achieving this. All too often pupils are moulded to fit an expectation or a given pathway to a secondary school. At The Croft it is all about the pupil and finding the correct school to allow their attributes and abilities to shine. Not every pupil will revel in the world of academia, or take to the stage as the next singing superstar, we need to help them find their own pathway to success. Which is why finding the right school is so important.

To be awarded in excess of 26 scholarships and 16 Grammar school places to our current Year 6, illustrates how our pupils are afforded the very best opportunities. The scholarships range from Music to Art, from Sport to All-Rounders, with a high proportion awarded for academic success too. These offers come from as far-a-field as Brighton College and Kings Worcester, whilst others are from Warwick School, Kings' High School and Princethorpe College, to name a few.

By giving our pupils the broadest education possible they find their own opportunities to achieve, and ultimately excel. These outstanding results are a credit to not only the pupils, but the hard-working teaching staff who inspire the children. At The Croft we encourage our children to aspire, to achieve and ultimately excel!
