Dulce et Forte

“Every now and then a man's mind is stretched by a new idea or sensation, and never shrinks back to its former dimensions.” Oliver Wendell Holmes

Very Able and Talented

In Key Stage 1, differentiation takes place, especially in English and Maths, where children are able to work at their individual level, and aim to achieve their full potential.

Higher level achievers are extended with appropriate work across the curriculum. By Year 2, children who have a talent in a particular subject, such as Music, Drama, Art or Sport, are given the opportunity to join a Music Ensemble, Theatre Company, Art Club or Sports Academy, for example, to extend their skills further.
