Year 6 went on a trip to watch War Horse at the Bristol Hippodrome. It was a very long coach journey. War Horse is about a boy called Albert and his horse, Joey, who is sold to the Cavalry. Joey is then shipped to France to be used in the First World War. During the play, there were lots of big bangs and explosions from the guns used during the fighting scenes. It made us all jump!
In the interval, everyone bought a programme or an ice-cream. Year 6 watched as Albert tries to rescue Joey and bring him home. At the end of the play, we were very lucky because we got to ask some really good questions to lots of the actors who had been in the performance.
Thank you to the cast of Bristol Hippodrome for their brilliant performance and taking the time to talk to Year 6.
