The Croft's Got Talent

The eagerly awaited 'The Croft's Got Talent' show took place on the last Friday before Half Term. As ever, the standard of the pupils' performances was exceptional as the children were treated to 17 fabulous acts.

This year, Mrs Crocombe challenged the House Captains to run the auditioning process and also judge the final. The Captains worked extremely hard in the whole process, even surprising the audience with a brilliant dance routine themselves; it was wonderful to see Pre-Prep join in with the actions of their routine.

The pupils' diverse acts ranged from playing the harp, skating and hula hooping at the same time, singing, dancing, and even tricks on a unicycle. During the interval, there was a surprise late entry, as the teachers performed their rendition of Riverdance – Michael Flatley would have been proud!

The talented performers certainly made the House Captains' job of picking a winner extremely difficult. Congratulations to Billy D who was awarded first place for reciting an extract from Henry V. Well done to Rowan B who came second, and Sofia H, Freya F-A, Rosie H, Sienna H and Lily C-J who all came third.
