Inspiring a generation

Keen to continue to build on the legacy of the amazing events and achievements we all witnessed at the London 2012 Olympic Games, The Croft is delighted to welcome Activate Sports to the School in July, for a fabulous fortnight of sport and activities.

From Monday 15 – Wednesday 17 July, we host the International Netball Roadshow, a 3-day coaching programme written by Tracey Neville, Director of Manchester Thunder Netball Team, and twin sister of footballer Phil Neville, and coached by some of England’s best players and Super League coaches.

On Thursday 18 and Friday 19 July, the focus turns to Hockey, with a Masterclass devised by 2012 Olympic bronze medallist Crista Cullen, full of fun and innovative skills, drills, games and challenges!

Then, in Ashes year, we go cricket crazy with the Andrew Flintoff Cricket Academy, a week-long coaching course, running Monday 22 – Friday 26 July, and featuring a visit from Freddie or other top international cricketer, keen to share their passion for the game.

All of the courses can be booked for individual days or full courses, so there is no excuse not to be active!

Bookings can be made at or by phoning 0115 9731676.

Croft regulars The ArtBase return for the two weeks, Monday 15 – Friday 19 and Monday 22 – Friday 26 July, running alongside Activate Sports, for those children who prefer a more creative activity. Bookings via or 01789 774705.
