Congratulations to all the pupils who entered The Croft’s annual ‘Bonfire Cake’ Competition. True to Croft tradition, there were some amazing creations, making the Theatre Foyer look like a scene from ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ – the aroma permeated the playground!
Mrs Edwards, Catering Manager, and her team judged the cakes, awarding each House a first and second place. The team was very impressed by the children’s creativity and imaginative interpretation of the Bonfire Night theme. Well done to the first place winners Grace, Laura and Sophie M, Hannah and Tim D, Isabella and Alice R and Emily L.
‘The proof is in the pudding’ and the delicious cakes were generously sliced and sold, raising £180.30 for The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. Many thanks to everyone involved in the Bonfire Cake Competition.
