Library
The School has two separate libraries, with over 6,000 books in total. There is a good range of both fiction and non-fiction titles, from the simplest picture books for children in Pre-Reception to some challenging reading for those in Year 6. Stock is updated regularly, and we aim to have many of the popular titles on our shelves, some of which our children recommend.
Each class has a weekly library session in which children, under the guidance of the Librarian, are shown how to search for and select appropriate books to borrow, using Junior Librarian computerised Library software. There is also a lunchtime ‘Drop-in’ club, held in the Prep Library, for children who enjoy book-related activities.
