The Croft is an independent, co-educational day school for children from 2 to 11 years old, situated on the outskirts of Stratford upon Avon. Founded in 1933, the School occupies a large rural site with superb facilities and extensive playing fields, offering children some of the most exciting educational opportunities in the area.
A family-based school, The Croft benefits from all the hallmarks of a traditional preparatory school, typically providing specialist teaching in small groups, where good discipline and a wider knowledge of the world around us, both spiritual and geographical, is encouraged. Music, Sport and Drama each play an important part in the curriculum, whilst Shakespeare, whose Birthplace is only one and a half miles away, has a profound influence on the School and its activities. The resulting high educational standards provide the all-round excellence which is at the heart of the School.
Continuity of education from the Nursery through Pre-Reception, Pre-Preparatory and Preparatory years ensures that all Croft children are well prepared for secondary school.
